it is with much sorrow that the death of jerelyn is posted here - she died in her shreveport home on friday, december 2, 2011, after several lengthy illnesses - but on this day, she was preparing for opening night of her most recent piece TWO ROOMS - she was doing what she loved most - her fantastic cast and crew carried on their performance, in the shadow of their loss and her passing, giving their ultimate performance in the grand tradition of the theatre - "the show must go on" - to them, her family is more than grateful - bravo! brava! - and to all her friends here - and there - we thank you for your caring thoughts in these times and hope you will remember the shining light that is jerelyn -
these photos were made on the day of her death, just hours prior, right after she and i had spoken at length by telephone - i believe there is a message here -
